I have a 2004 350Z Base with NISMO CAI and NISMO Cat Back Exhaust. I am adding NISMO CAMS and NISMO Headers soon (just bought the NISMO Cams on e-Bay "new" for $800 half an hour ago; I'll let you know how that works out...).

I have heard that adding the mid Plenum form the 350Z Track (2005) is a great power mod for a 2004 model. I am thinking of doing this in conjunction with a polished upper plenum and a technosquare reflash.

Any advice or experienece would be appreciated on this mod. Also, anybody our there from Arizona with NISMO Headers? Any summer heat problems?

 

Do some homework on bumping up the idle. There was a time that you couldnt bump up the idle on late 2004 ECU's. Not sure if that has changed now or not. 2004 or 2004.5 folks chime in. Only saying this because of the cams.

I have an 04.5 and had my idle raised when I had the ecu reflashed. Raised it to 800 - but should have gone up to about 850 though.

 

Guys, thank you...I had no idea about the idle issue...any experience out there on the mid Plenum?

 

I think the plenum would be good especially with the cams. go for it. I would like to see what the lower plenum paired with a crawford upper would do.
