Default stock cats

how long are the straight sections of the original cats? like.. if the cat was to be divided into 2 pieces without the bend, how long would both lengths be? i want to weld together a high flow cat converter because it has a CARB E.O. number with it and im going to add in a sound muffler which i can adjust from the drivers seat the high flow cat is about 11 inches in length... im going to buy some test pipes off ebay and weld on the high flow cat! so please, let me know

hey,
here's a much easier & cheaper option. Gut the 2ndary cats. Take a drill or something equally destructive & remove the honeycomb material from the second bulge in our stock cats. This will free some exhaust flow while keeping it stock looking & be alot cheaper.(ie:free)

This is ANOTHER one of your threads that I have had to move. PLEASE POST IN THE APPROPRIATE SECTION!!! Intake/Exhaust is for intake, headers, cats, test pipes, exhaust, intake filters, throttle body, plenum, ect. Not just intake and cat-back exhaust. If you do not post in the appropriate secton from now on, we will give you a warning the first few times. After that, (3 warnings and you still do it) we will ban you.

It's ok, just make sure you don't do it wrong in the future. If you are unsure next time, put it in the first post of the thread, then it won't be a big deal when I have to move it.
