Default preference: injen angled or straight tip?

I'm plannin to buy a catback exhaust system in the next month and can't decide which injen I want. Being that I'm a poor college student I plan to buy used. I'm leanin towards the angled after hearing some sound clips (sounds throatier to me), but I'd like to hear some opinions. On a side note, anyone know where to find a used angled system? Only places I know to look are the forum's classifieds and ebay.

Thanks,

Jordan

If you're poor you can just weld on tips that you like. Otherwise you'll have to shell out some cash.

i prefer the straight tips because it's more mellow, richer sounding than the raw roar of the angled

btw charlie is right... if you want the angled look but can only find the straight tips, just cut the tips off and weld on some other ones that stick out the side (instead of bending back)

Injen stops selling those angle exhaust few months ago. So you can get those used on ebay or on private classified.

I'll add a poll. BTW, won't be easy to find a angled, they canceled it over 2 or 3 months ago. Nevermind, can't add a poll, guess this software doesn't allow it.

id go with the straight tips, looks alot better and i believe they sit up under the bumper tighter, the sound though is really not THAT much different, both sound real good.

When I bought my Stillen CT, I bought "straights" but ended up with "angled" by mistake ....BOY was I glad!
The angled looks better, IMHO.

the sound clips i've heard of the straight tip don't sound very deep/aggressive , maybe it was just poor quality clips- anyone got a good clip of the injen straight tip?

Thanks

They offer a rolled tip and a regular tip. The rolled tip has SS on the inside of the tip, the regular does not, the regular might not even have SS surrounding it.

The Injen exhaust refers to ANGLED MUFFLERS WITH ANGLED TIPS, or STRAIGHT TIPS WITH ANGLED MUFFLERS. Stillen's mufflers are mounted in the same place on both tip versions.
