As he has probably told you, this will happen on Tuesday!
That is what I am hearing. I got word frm robert on the price of the engine cover and it will be in the low $100 range. No exact numbers yet.

Talked to Robert/lsdunique at 4:30 PDT. They were in the process installing Polished IM on their shop "Z". They have a dyno appointment on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. He assured me that NA numbers would be posted immediately upon receipt of NA numbers.

REALLY?

For a piece of plastic? The OEM one isn't that much is it? I was hoping for a little better price on the cover since this is a fairly expensive mod (the IM). I may just go without.

Seems kinda pricey to me as well. Hell, it may be CF! Now that would probably be sweet! Plus it is big in comparison to the OEM one.

If I had enough money, I definitely wouldnt get the engine cover. I would much rather get the CJM anodized fuel rails and add to the bling factor!

I have the billet rails from AAM. Do you think the cover would "cover" them up? Maybe I will just skip it.

I would paint mine Brickyard, so I wouldn't really want CF anyway.

I dont know if the engine cover would cover them up or not. Hopefully Robert will post pix tomorrow.

The problem with developing an engine cover is that it is only good for our manifold.

So in a perfect world, we will only be sellign as many covers as we sell manifolds, so production costs are fairly high given the low quantities.

I believe the factory engine cover is around $90?

This engine cover is also quite larger, and it wont be made of carbon fiber unfortunately.

THANK YOU drsifu! I think there are more people looking for NA numbers than FI. Even with the 9:30 appointment, it is still going to take a couple of hours to get the data posted. I can almost guarantee that when Robert/lsdunique gets NA numbers he will start a separate NA thread. I will most likely repost FI dyno graphs on that same thread.

Thanks! The Kinetix Polished IM got a lot of attention. I have not check the GB list, but I believe "going deep" added his name to the list after seeing and looking at the numbers. I want to see his before and after numbers once he receives the IM.

Got NA dyno results, which are very impressive. Now I'm just waiting for a picture of this engine cover. Any idea when they're going to be released?

I know...I'm impatient.

I would be putting this plenum onto the 35th anniversary car with the higher rev limit. What parts would I be removing, during the installation process?

I've heard that I'd be losing the lower plenum, which...is part of the reason the 35th anni car develops more power, in the first place?

I think you will have the same or more power with this plenum and more trq compared to the 300hp motor

Correct, this manifold replaces the entire lower and upper plenum.
