Anyone have aftermarket cats, Y-pipe, and B-pipe with Stock Exhaust?
I had this setup w/RT HF Cats, Japtrix Y and B pipe and the stock muffler...It was a little louder than stock...Not as aggressive as I wanted though. I never dyno'ed w/this setup so as far as power gains were concerned...I can't tell you. I'm not one to go off butt-dyno's...When you stepped on it, you could hear the cats and the y reall well...it was a deep growl

i had hi-flow cats, fuji y pipe, japtrix mid-pipe, and the oem exhuast.
i did not dyno it. but it was def. louder than stock.
like abstrakt stated, it sounds a lot deeper.
its a great setup that is cheaper than an aftermarket exhuast, and you get about the same gains.
(btw, i have my japtrix mid-pipe up for sale, see here:

I have RT cats, JIC y-pipe with the stock B pipe and stock muffler. I did this because I love the sound of the stock exhaust. It is significantly louder than stock, but sounds GREAT. The power increase is definitely there, but I know at high RPMS I am probably missing a few HP, as the 3" outlet from the y-pipe mates to a 2.5" B pipe- definitely not ideal for free flow. Performance Nissan says that the main restrictions in the stock exhaust are the cats and y-pipe. I do like my setup and would recommend it!
