Ok guys, after adding the borla exhaust i'm looking to my next mod which is intake. first of all I want to say that I live in a country where the temprature would reach 40-45 which is extremly hot over here. I heard many good things about the PopCharger, but would this intake help in a warm climate? one more thing, there are lots of sand storms, is there a possible that the sand fill out(get inside) the filter/popcharger?
Or should I switch to K&N typhoon intake in my situation?
Please give your opinions and thoughts. Thanks in advance.

Come on in all the guys from Arizona or anywhere else that suffers from hot climates (extreme) and have sandy & windy conditions.
My only suggestion, after living in Hong Kong with hot and humid conditions is stick with OE for summer and change to aftermarket CAI for winter.

Popchager best way to go ,quick and easy to clean better than stock. I have AEM and its a biotch to clean but after a while it gets quicker 30 minutes and I am done. I would think sand will get in the OEM or any other kind you get that's why I say popcharger all the way.

No way will put 10 rwhp but sounds good. Not to knock K&N good filter but CAI will only open the air flow up nothing else , like giving it a bigger straw(lets it breathe better).

I live in Arizona now, which the climate is pretty much like those middle-eastern country, which is hot and sandy. My old GTI has AEM CAI on it but i doubt sand would ever get in. However, performance gain is totally un-noticeable. Save that $$ towards something else. (e.g. Crank pulley, like $80 more and you get more low-end torque)
Homiusang,
Yeah, I lived in HK for over 7 years. 97 to '04. Loved the place. U mentioned GTi? Which one, as I drove a Pug 206Gti whilst there or are you talking something a bit bigger? hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
The best way to describe it is as Sisco534 said, "like give it a bigger straw to breathe through".
Sand is my biggest concern, not hydrolock!
