Trust me, I am with you all the way. I was duped.. But I'll try to not cry over $10 too much (cali sales tax w/ xerd purchase). Good heads up though. Considering i'm dropping 10k+ next week for my APS install I guess i can live.

Like you say, it is not a big deal. I too am about to drop a large sum on a TT install. But a few bucks saved on each purchase allows for more items, is the way I like to look at it. Bottom line, I felt better about spending $89 on something I may only use for a week or less (if I don't like them) than $109, and I thought I would share the information because others are in the same financial situation as I am. What I like is buying direct from the company if possible, because if there is a problem, there is no chain of distributors to go through. Good luck on the APS install.

I haven't received mine yet...
how's the CEL situation? According to their site, they claim there isn't any issue with the CEL.

CEL is a NON issue. For 2003 and early 2004, they most likely DON'T throw a code. If you have an 04.5 or 05, just use the HELP! method and you will be CEL free.

cel is okay so far (just after 1 day).
sounds like a jet fighter just blew by you.
slightly raspy but has the Ferrarri-kind exotic sound to it.
I'm sure there are ppl who love this type soud including myself but not sure if the cops will like it. I might have to change my exhaust to something more quiet to compliment the newly acquired pipes. hahaha

SHO-TIME, are you running on the stock exhaust? Do you think you could post up some sound clips? Thanks.

I am waiting for a stainless steel bung to be delivered. I will bring them with on the TT install to see if they have a bung there.

Just an FYI, if you are planning to install this by yourself, be sure that you already have bought 10 nuts and bolts to mount this badboy and also 2 rubber bushings that holds it into place.

I'm talking about that bracket that supports your test pipes. Most of the carpart store that I went didn't carry this at all. Good thing i got a few bolts sitting around the house that I was able to use.
