Default great pirce on magnaflow

I found a feally fair price for the magnaflow exhaust comapred to previous ones seen. I am deabting on taking the magnaflow or the pro 1 exhaust system. The pro1 gives is at $ 500 whle the magnaflow is at 570. They both sound great but they both have somehting negative about them. TO me the magnaflow looks alot like the stock cat back but still sounds great. The pro1 looks alot different than the stock cat back with much larger piping and sounds like a very deep version of the stokc. THe problem is the pro1 has been called very ricey sounding. I dont wann kill the image of the z and make it sound like a ricer but i dont wann really leave the cat back lookin stock. SO i was wondering if anyone knows the difference in performance gains and how people feel about these 2 systems.

I have seen a lot more Z's with pro-1 products to be honest I have only seen one member with magnaflow that shoud mean somthing I was thinking about a change the previous owner did custom setup SOUNDS LIKE RICE when you get down on it(fart cans) but I must say I havent had a dyno but I raced 2 05's this weekend a blue touring and sunset track... pulled both of them sunset was automatic so not much room for error so maybe this funky setup really adds some hp... Do some searches you will find mucho info ...also sound clips so you can hear what each setup sounds like

I have clips of both magnaflow and pro1 but when you said that it made the z sound like a rice car were you talkin about the pro1 or magnaflow. I just wanna no what people suggest to get between the two i jsut dont wanna have the stock lookin cat back but i dont want it to soudn civic. The pro1 has a very deep drone noise to it i dont find it to be civic sounding.

I was referring to my set up, (sorry) I would lean to pro1 because there are more members with than with the magnaflow. I have only heard clips and with other mods it will sound different headers etc. so it is hard to say depending on what other mods you have .

I plan on gettin an intake, headers and test pipes with either one of the cat backs. Iam lookin to make the car sound louder without making it sound obnoxiuous and i dont want to fully lose that exotic tone that the z has.

Many to choose from I think if you listen to clips that is best. there is a lot of different ways to set up exhaust. good luck
