Default JWT Installation question

Do you need to screw the heatshield to the air passage with the two screws? I ask because the part of the heatshield that is suppose to attach to the plastic air duct is angled such a way that It doesn't sit flush wtih the passage peice. I have to bend it about 3/4" and that sucker is stiff. I just left the screws off for now. I did put two bottom bolts that are tightented onto the rail which holds the heat shield in place.

yeah, I used the 2 screws to mount to the air duct as well. I used a soldering iron to start the holes and a really stubby screwdriver to screw them in from inside the duct.

Interesting, 1 problem is having to bend the shield to line up with the plastic duct. I'm thinking only mine is oddly shaped.
