That's what a pair of Random Technology Hi Flo Cats cost, which will be my next mod.

that's what i have left after buying Kinetix HFCs and a UR pulley.
The UR pulley is good for 10-12 HP. And A Y-pipe is good for about 6-8. You can get both of those. Or a Plenum spacer and a Y-pipe. I'm trying to decide between DC sports or Borla headers and a 3.5 final drive. Or Y-pipe and drive and plenum spacer.

Do your research the Borla headers don't add any HP or very little.

I agree with the statement about Borla headers, they provide little to no gains. The creator himself even stated he expected very little gains from it. With $600 I think you should ask yourself, am I staying NA or going FI later on? High Flow Cats and Pulleys are items that won't work with the HKS Supercharger setup (the pulleys should not be used on any FI setup). If you plan on staying NA let me recommend the UR Pulleys or the KJR Performance pulley as you will feel the difference. If you are going FI save the money for the kit or an aftermarket exhaust.

hmm 600....well you could get sway bars/intake or....

headers....
exhaust....
ECU reflash (depending on what u have done)....
plenum (or spacer)....

if it was me and i was looking for most for 600 i would get:

1) Motordyne 1/4" plenum spacer ($170ish?)
2) popcharger ($110)
3) Y-pipe or hi-flows/test pipes ($the rest)

should get you around a solid 5-6 whp across the board

welcome to an addiction!

Well, i went with Kinetix HFC, AAM Spacer, Gruppe-S Y-pipe and UR pulley
I'd better get at least 20 more HP and 17 torque
If i can find someone to let go of the 3.5 finals i'd go with that also.

$200-test pipes

$200-220 Crank Pulley

$110-Pop charger

= $510 - take your extra money and dyno your car with a/f before and after, so you can see gains, and check a/f....

Well this depends on what is better in your case. Nobody can argue that test-pipes provide more gains than HF cats. They are louder, and raspier-unless you get resonated test-pipes, and are much cheaper than HF cats. Thing is in most states they are illegal, and when emissions time comes around you would be better off swapping in your cats, I have no problem with this so I run test-pipes, if you cant wrench or dont want to pay somebody to do this, dont want to go through the hassle, then HF cats would be your better option. You have to decide what would be best for you...

Alberto, would you go with an AAM spacer or 3.5 final drive gears if you had to choose one?

any intake might free up 1-2 flywheel hp. maybe. the crawford plenum is supposed to be a good thing. some solid HP #'s with it...but its a lil pricey. might as well wait and get a Kinetix SSV for that kind of $ for an IM.
