Default Kinetix Cats Q?

I installed Kinetix HF cats and an Apex SAFC, i feel a lot more power but the car runs a lot rougher, in terms of idle and just a little more noise under my feet when sitting at a light. I was just wondering if this was normal and something i should expect. Curious of what some of you other guys experiences with HF cats, Overall i love the cats, it sounds awesome with the Injen exhaust and my car pulls real hard now i cant wait to get it to the track....stealth install on the SAFC also ill post pics soon or if someone can host them for me...

I have the Kinetix HF cats with Injen exhaust and do not have any idle problems or feel the engine being rougher. My car, warmed up, will idle around 650. Maybe that is what you are referring to?

I will say the exhaust note deepend and got louder - especially with my Vortech.

I have the cats and I am getting really bad rasping. Even when the car warms up in the morning, I can hear vibrating from the bottom of the car. I also have the topspeed headers. Thoughts on getting rid of the sound?

HF Cats are known to cause rattle when the heat shields come in contact with the body of the car. When I had my Kinetix cats on, we had to bang on the undercarriage a bit to keep it from touching in one point on the cat, and the sound went away.

It is probably either that or an exhaust leak. An exhaust leak will sound like the hissing of pressurized air escaping. If that's the case, check your gaskets and the bolts holding the pipes together.
