NISMO CAI or JWT popcharger
There is already a thread that asks this exact question, so do a search. The advantage of the Pop Charger is that it is cheaper, easier to install (i believe you have to remove front bumper for nismo), in terms of HP+TQ increases they arent that different either.

I have both, and the JWT is on my car for two reasons.
1) It only takes about 30 seconds to remove the filter for cleaning as opposed to the 20 minutes required with the CAI which involves getting out the ramps and crawling under the car to unbolt the underbody work to access the filter.
2) Using my in-car PC and monitoring the intake temp, the only real difference the CAI made is when the car was stopped. The JWT sucks in hot air when the car isn't moving, but at any speed above 15mph, the intake temps were virtually the same.
note: I also noticeably lost mid range with the CAI. Sine 95% of my driving is in the low to mid-range, its not where I wanted to lose power.

+1 It is a ***** to remove the filter for CAIs and that problem is compounded by the fact that the filters for CAIs get dirtier faster then short ram
I went with the popcharger after reading this review:
http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/june03/350pop/
Especially this quote:
"Not wanting to mess around we put the car on the dyno immediately and recorded the biggest gains we.ve seen on any 350Z yet: 6.5 hp at the wheels! The driving difference was noticeable, springing a welcomed quickness to redline. To say we were amazed is an understatement. It.s not that we.ve ever been let down by the POP-Charger but it usually gets out-gunned by the fully piped Cold Air Intake. What a welcomed discovery: the most affordable intake modification we.ve tested makes the most power."
Plus, I am going with the varis air duct witch I think this air ram will totally take advantage of.
A side note about the noise: My friend who turbo'ed his VW jetta was behind me when I redlined my car and he took off trying to keep up with me, and he told me how shocked he was that the popcharger made the car sound like a turbo'ed car. He had to do a double take to see if another turbo car was folling us. lol. After I installed my Borla True Dual Exhaust, the rumble and roar of the new exhaust drowned out the popcharger. But it was a cool noise when you could hear it
