Mine was custom made with 2 silverline cans.....who is silverline??...sounds farty until about 4k rpm then sounds throaty.. Mine is from headers I have no y-pipe nothing but 3inch pipe straight to the cans. I am still partial on this I have driven stock and with my setup I lost T/Q down low but gained more h/p I guess??? It opens up after 4k revs faster up high I am assuming more h/p dunno havent dyno yet?!!

Hey one of my friends told me about this thread, a few mentioned my setup. Someone on here asked about x-pipes and that's exactly what i incorporated into my system. Its a true dual system with a magnaflow x pipe and 2.5 piping all throughout, very similar to the stillen design, but with the HKS carbon Tis in the back. Took a lot of work to get it all to work right. Muffler tech in sacramento did the piping but i designed all the blueprints and stuff. I actually lost most of my pics, dont remember where i put them on the computer, but it seems another member saved a bunch of them so ill try to get some back from him.
I do have a digital video camera and i can take video/sound clips if someone can host the video.

by the way, i did dyno the car with a significant gain over stock, somewhere around +25hp. I think that if my piping would have been mandrel bent i may have gained another extra 2 or 3 hp as well, but that would have cost some serious bank.

This is the same exact setup I was toying with building....Could you email me your blue prints and links to where you bought the HKS Tips and the Magnaflow X-pipe? Could you let me know what it cost you to have built? Email me at nkroger@gmail.com
Thanks,
Nick

i got the email and man that single sounds MEAN!!!! I wonder if there are any sound clips of the custom dual setup????
AParshall - do you have any sound clips of your exhaust? if not can you get some for me? if so can you email them to me at nkroger@gmail.com
The sound of the singel setup makes me want to do just a single but I think with the Magnaflow X-pipe that the dual should maintain a similar deep throaty exhaust not and if so then I will definently go dual since I think it looks better IMO....although the single does look mean too

Rajiv you're the man. The sound is very distinct, nothing like the Injen Straight tip I had before. I'm wondering what exhaust to do, and the vids helped me. Based on past experience, the vids do it no justice.
Anyone have Wicked4u2cs clips? His were very very clear.
Thanks fellas and good luck!
