Default Do headers make a difference in sound?

I know that headers make mad torque which is a good thing, but do they really make a noticeable difference in the sound(making the exhaust louder) Cuz if its gonna make my exhaust a good bit louder I'll get em if not then I'll leave the stock headers on for now. 630 Bucks is 630 Bucks no matter which way you cut it. Much appreciation in advance!

they will but not much different. However, if you go with the combo set up:

header + HF Cat + Dual Exhaust = Much different in hp gain and sound gain.

Don't forget install price....$500

Pain to do it yourself unless you have a lift and 8-10 hours.

I agree with Bubble. I have DC Sport/Crawford Cats/Stillen exhuast big diff in sound. I added the headers last and could tell a difference of course I had RTs on my car at the time.

When I was NA, I had a pop charger and the Nismo exhaust. Which was good, I loved the sound. Then I added the Headers and that made a big difference. It sounded much deeper and louder, especially when pulling away. That is the best sounding exhaust IMO popcharger, nismo hdrs, nismo exhaust.

Now, the new stillen exhausts for the G's, man those sound sweet. What sweet sounding exhaust tones we have, damn were lucky. A 30k car that sounds like a 100k car. When I get on it so they can hear it, not in a crazy driver type of way but just a nice tone, people are always breaking their necks to hear our cars. hahaha
