With the money you saved... get them JETHOT coated, it's worth it.

I will never do a Header install on my Z again

It was my first time and I followed some install instruction off the net. Very complete instructions, it explained what steps were necessary to access to the headers without the use of all the stupid extensions. Which IMO, get very annoying when you really trying to tighten something down and not round off the nuts because you’re not getting on it "square". Others say it was no problem installing the headers without removing some components from above, well… good for them I wasn’t going to frustrate myself with extensions from below, take the chance of scratching up my new headers with tools, worry about rounding off any nuts, or think about a properly torqued nut, because I really couldn't get to it… GD! Anyway it took me two days in and out with brakes and without getting overly frustrated or worn completely out. I did take my time, seriously… I also put on HF Cats, new gaskets and made some home made brackets to keep everything in check.
You should be able to get headers installed in about 8hrs, all by yourself for the first time, if you are at all mechanically inclined.

JetHot coating was $225 door to door for just the Headers. It really is worth it!
