Default Cracked TP and crooked exhaust

Ok I just took a road trip to Austin from Dallas (about 200 miles) when I arrive there I discover my exhaust is crooked and there is a rattle (I have nismo exhaust and Megan racing resonated TP's.)

I take it to the local Midas and have them take a look. Turns out the Megan racing TP's cracked at the welds in several places!!! They welded that back up for now but I am going to order new ones as I have read bad things about these TP's.

But on the crooked exhaust they seemed to have fixed it but when I took a better look when I was home, all they did was bend the lower pipe up so now my pipes are strait and my muffler is crooked as hell!!!

I have also read that the TP's cracking isn’t always there fault if the exhaust was not installed correctly, I am planning to go to a Midas here in Dallas now to get them to fix my exhaust that the screwed up even more, but I am wondering if I should take the exhaust to a performance shop to see if it is installed correctly.

I don’t want to buy a more expensive pair of TP's and have them crack on me to because they are taking on to much weight, if you think I should would you guys know of any good shops in the Dallas area??? Thanks in advance! Sorry for the long post!

no problems so far they are much better than the megans. my mechanic told me that the metal is MUCH thicker and better than the megans. they also come w/ a brace that you can attach them to the stock cat brace if you wish. i got them directly form xerd for 90 bucks back when they were on sale. they are great

I seem to only be able to find them around the $160 range! where did you get yours from, I have seen many threads where people paid 100 bucks so i would hate to have to drop the extra $60! Thanks again!

Megan racing makes JUNK! Spend the extra money and get some high quality parts that a manufacture will stand behind. By buying those shaddy TPs you probably spent more money when you include the cost to have them fixed and down time of your car than if you just dropped the cash on name brand items. I've seen this happen SO many times. All that ebay crap that's labeled like name brand companies (Megan=Mugen, DC-S=DC Sports, etc...) NEVER HOLD UP! IT"S ALL CRAP!!!!!!
