Can the Borla TD be installed in my garage on jackstands? I may be able to talk a local garage into helping me install on his lift. Would it be worth the $100 or so?

Also, somebody here mentioned something about this stuff that you put on the pipe joints to help in installing and it helps seal them. Anybody know what that was?

Tx

Looking back on my install, go to the garage, it is worth it for a $100. Depending on what type of weather you have, the bolts on the cat could be very hard to get off. You might even have to torch the bolts like I had to do to get it loose. Then I had to use a rubber hammer to bang the pipes snuggly in place. I wouldn't want to do that with jackstands. If you try to push the pipes snuggly with your hands, I find you won't get it all the way in and will be off by half an inch.
