test pipe.....How long on the car
i was wondering who all has testpipes on?? how long has it been and if they were remove why? just wanna get some pros and cons about them.
i had my first set of test pipes (the ebay ones) on maybe a month or 2. i then switched them to labree res.test pipe and have had these on for 4 months or so.
the only reason i switched was due to brand and quality of the test pipes.
PROS:
performance
CONS:
illegal
SES light (i don't have one, but if you have a '04 + you may need o2 sims)
kinda smelly sometimes.

I've had test pipes for months now. I wanted the performance and ease of installing my wideband 02 sensor.
Pros:
-Less restrictive than stock cats
-Lighter than stock cats
-Ease of installing Wideband 02 sensor
-Great sound (Perception for those that want a true race performance sound)
Cons:
-Illegal in some states
-Smelly at times
-Loud (for that that like quiet cars)
-Check engine light if you have 04+ (easily fixed)
-Has a weird rattle sound during deceleration
