Default Injen CAI installation

Guys,

I was helping a buddy installed his CAI yesterday. The air filter seems to be hanging at the last part of the installation (without support).

I did notice there was a metal on the tube next to the air filter to mount onto something, but really cannot locate any screw nearby.

Are we missing any support here? Btw, he did install the bypass valve which might have extended the cai.

Use one of the 3 holes from the splash guard. These holes are on the bottom of the support/crash beam in front of the rad.

yeah i just put in an injen cai a couple weeks ago.. in your grille there are two plastic pieces that you had to take out, you use one of the holes and the stock plug to keep it in place, i did it and it stays just fine... let me know if you need a pic
