Out of a dozen emails or PM's to vendors, I have only received 2 responses. I really do not want to wait 8 weeks. I need some responses vendors.

I have not had a chance to call them. I have sent a couple of emails and a couple of PM's with no response yet.

Hello,

This is Darren from Intense. Are you the one that emailed me about the VeilSide? If so, I replied to it yesterday. VeilSide USA got back to me, advising that it may, or not be in their Oct container. I know this doesn't help much, but that's what they advised me. I can check the RS-R on Monday.

The reason for the late reply on the email is because on Thursday, our network got a worm, virus, and trojan horse! I really don't know too much about what that means, except we didn't have internet at all on Thursday. We recieve over 100 emails/day, so it sometimes takes a couple of days to reply anyways.

On a side note, I used to have the VeilSide full ti exhuast on my own 350. Per VeilSide USA, there has only ever been 5 sold in the U.S. in full ti. Being that it is full ti, it is very very deep, and weights only around 5lbs. I wish we would have taken a sound clip before I sold it, but I didn't. Hope all of this helps. D.

Don't get me wrong, but I could not wait till October to get the veilside exhaust. But I have been told that I should be able to get my hands on one by middle of next month.

1tense -
I am also interested in the Veilside exhaust. Is it s y-pipe design, or a true dual design? Also, can you elaborate more on the sound level, tone, and pitch. Does it sound more like the fuji/nismo/blitz setups (kinda exotic tone, deep down low, but higher pitched at higher Rpm's; retaining more of the stock Z note)?...or Does it sound more like the HKS TD ti/Invidia G200/APS TD (deeper throughout the whole rev range, and changes the stock Z's tone slightly.)? Any descriptive review would be great! I noticed you just sold your HKS exhaust. How did it compare to the Veilside exhaust that you had? What are you replacing your HKS exhaust with?

The only way you will recieve a Z33 VeilSide exhaust is if someone is sitting on stock. Not likely though, as it is a $2k+ exhaust. Ray from VeilSide USA personally advised me that the earlies would be October, and he wasn't even sure of that. We are the 2nd largest distributor of VeilSide products in the world, and 95% of our business is retail, not wholesale. Yes, we sell ALOT of VeilSide products.

No. Doesn't sound like any of those. It's deep down low, through the middle, and still deep at the top. It does not retain the stock Z note.

or Does it sound more like the HKS TD ti/Invidia G200/APS TD (deeper throughout the whole rev range, and changes the stock Z's tone slightly.)?
No to HKS, as I have it now. (It's sold, but still on my car. I'm waiting to pull it off for when I get around to putting on my Turbonetics single. I'm going JIC full ti single 3") I don't know about the sound of the other 2. The VeilSide is a rear section exhaust, not cat-back, not true dual. Exhaust gasses resonate the deepest and throatiest of any material when it's going through titanium. You really cannot compare the sound of the other exhausts to VeilSide. It's very very deep, throaty, and tough sounding. Not exotic, just mean.

Any descriptive review would be great! I noticed you just sold your HKS exhaust. How did it compare to the Veilside exhaust that you had? What are you replacing your HKS exhaust with?
HKS is exotic sounding, like a Lambo exhaust. VeilSide is deep and mean sounding. I don't know how to explain it any other way. People ask me everyday to explain how this or that exhaust sounds like, or what my opinion is. Here's my opinion on exhausts for the Z:

If you want a true dual, go HKS. If you want a rear section, go VeilSide. I'm going JIC Ti Single 3" because I'm doing a Turbonetics S/T, and I didn't want to have to modify my HKS. Plus, I got a sponsorship from JiC as well! Hope all of this helps.

If october is the case, then I think I will go RS*R. I really do not feal like waiting 2 months OR LONGER for Veilside. And from the posts I have read about Veilside, It will be longer than they say.

Thanks 1ntense
Your review did help me out. From the sound clips I have of the veilside, it sounds exactly how you stated. Deep all the way through the rev range. I didnt know how hard he is revving in the video,(I thought he maybe wasnt revving it all the way up b/c it sounded soo deep), but I guess its just the sound of the veilside. But, I am personally looking for something stockish sounding, but a little deeper, louder, and somewhat exotic sounding. The veislide is a nice looking piece though. But, from the sound of things, it looks like I might be going with the HKS, or possibly the fuji.

dank311, if you want something much more louder than stock, than the fujitsubo is not for you. Most people barely even notice I have an exhaust on the car. It is a little bit louder than stock and a bit deeper, but not exotic in my opinion. I also have R/T cats which make things even louder, and it still is pretty quiet.
