Looks nice but wow its pretty expensive. If the box was around $200 - $300 I might purchase it...

Is it for short ram intakes like the JWT pop charger or is it a replacement for the OEM?

There was already a thread about this where everyone bashed the ARC for its high price when they can get a Popcharger for $125:

The bottom line is this intake is for JDM bling. Most people on this site don't understand the desire to buy high quality JDM parts at higher prices. I understand it and I respect those people.

The price is a bit steep, but it's a pretty nice piece. It will work well, with decent gains, but it's true other intakes will make similar power for cheaper.
That's why most of our customers go with the pop chargers or nismo intakes, but you can't deny the JDM aspect

I know Rickdogg wants one! hehe

One thing many people also dont understand about ARC is that they specialize in making parts which can be used in very tight restriction race classes which have restrictions to things such as the intake tract in order to make power. For this reason they do spend a large amount of time producing top quality pieces that are engineered to meet the needs of these restricted classes and provide the best resaults possible. This of course does not mean they are brain boggling resaults, but rather resonable resaults based on the restrictions they set for the design. Plus obviously as mentioned before there is a far amount of JDM bling cost.
