Default any new ebay header reviews?

I really just can't justify spending 450 on the strup when they look identical to the ebay, for those of you who have bought the ebay headers recently and had a good experience, can you tell me about it? can you tell me the ebay seller? any dyno charts on ebay headers out there? when I search all I find is people arguing, no evidence really...

Take a look at these: http://hpautoworks.chainreactionweb....cc78d7a0da1cbb

Some people have bought their test pipes and y-pipe and have reported that the quality is superb. They're only $339.

while I'm endorsing for bodykit from Ebay but i don't recommend any replica part for you Engine. Don't cut corner once it deals with your car engine/performance.

Keep in mind, installation cost for header would run you from $300 to $600. If something happen to your header from Ebay, you will need to reinstall again, that is when the cost kicks in.

I'll take a close up picture of STRUP for you later.

^^^ so you save $100 buy buying a cheap knock-off on ebay....then next year you pay another 600 to remove it and reinstall something that won't blow off your manifold, heh

if you want to save money, buy top-speed pro-1 headers....very cheap but very very good build quality.

.
Agree. Please do not budget performance mods such as headers. They are too damn difficult to install and remove. If your budget is $500, keep an eye open for sales at retailers such as Avalon Racing. Every so often they will offer Alphawerks headers for $450.

hehehe...Ebay header is a different story. I haven't see one possitive review for it yet. Actually, i bought one (topspeed) from ebay and the quality look really weird. I don't install and leave it in my garage to collect dust)

STRUP or Alphawerk would give out the same hp gain compare to DC or Nismo but cheaper

k i have ebay headers, test pipes and a y pipe on my 05 base z. No problems at all except the test pipes had issues with connecting with the stock y pipe. It was too narrow for the y pipe so i got the ebay y pipe also. Quality is pretty good considering i put the car through a lot of wot runs and they are still going strong. car needs a desperate reflash though as my gas mileage is suffering big time with the new mods. save money and take the time to install um ureslf, just make sure u have the right tools

Yea me and my friend did the install ourselves. Lol took us like 6 hours though cause like u all know space is a beotch in there. Kept having to find weird angles to get it the bolts. I cant really compare it now as i forget where all the welds were on the ebay headers but thats a good thing to me as they r still there lol. No complaints yet.

WELL, I bought a set of the 90.00 headers on ebay a couple weeks ago. I bought these because the Z I bought had a greddy kit on it and I sold the kit and that left me with no manifolds. Im waiting for the JWT TT kit to get the CARB stamp. So I just need something until then. I got them two weeks after winning the auction. Im really shocked at how good the welds look. Im not that thrlled about where the header bolts up to the block but thats nothing a file cant fix.

$450 for the STRUP header and you will have about 10-19hp gain compare to $1500 HKS exhaust or $900 Borla exhaust for about 8-10hp gain. To your answer: YES.
