Default Emmission Testing

Anyone have Emmission testing to deal with? Here, we have to do an emmissions test every 2 years. I was wondering if the "CRAWFORD High Flow Catalyitic Converters" will pass emmisions testing?

What kind of test do they do? Is it an OBD port hook-up, or a tail pipe test. With an OBD hook-up, as long as your ECU doesn't have a code logged, you will be fine. I'm fairly certain the Crawfords will pass a tail pipe test also.

You should pass. The testing stops after the converter. The key is to have a converter in great condition & being only a couple years old...no problem.

Or you could just not worry about the converter and put on test pipes. Go to any town and find the most low down inspection place there and slip the guy a 20 for the sticker. Thats what were running here in Texas.
