Need an opinion on what to do with my Gruppe M intake.
I posted this in the intake forum with very a small response, I just need some more opinions.
Ok , I had the Gruppe M Intake in the Z well as most of you know it ended up rubbing a hole into my A/C lines. So im going to fix them in a few days, so here I need a opinion:
a. Do I re-install the Gruppe M intake, and insulate the lines? (Also what do you recommend I put around these a/c lines? So I won't have this problem again)
or
b. Do I go buy another intake that I won't have any issues with? What do you recommend besides Gruppe M, for intakes? (I was thinking Nismo Cold air).
Thanks for your help!!!
ps Another Z member recommended the Injen sd1986 intake..
Your Thoughts???

Try to renforce the line. I put some heavy duty tape on mine. See if you could get a metal sleave on it to make it harder to rub open. I have th Popcharger and had the samething happen. Did a lil repositioning and just check it on a regular.
You should just give me the intake. hahahahaha
No seriously, get some rubber hose from Home Depot (about $1.00) and cut it down the middle. Slide it over your a/c lines and you are set.
