Crawford Cats

Would it be normal for a set of cats to be rusted after 5 months of use in the summer? Has anyone noted rust on their cats after a while?

I need a response ASAP. Please help.

I think that it would depend on what the cats were made of. If they are stainless steel than it should not oxidize, but if the cats were made out of aluminized steel than it would be prone to oxidation.
