I'm thinking of getting one too. I've never heard anything bad about it though...

what do you mean it doesn't work? I just emptied it the other day.. there was about ~8 oz of water (crankcase condensation) with a little oil mixed in.. it was so easy to empty too.. unlike the Cusco can i used to have..

Can we see some pics? I'm going to order something today, whether it's a Cusco universal or this ARC piece...

Yo, Rick.....does the ARC air box come with a filter? If it does, is it the cone type or the panel type? Thanks.

Hey Rick, do you even find oil deposits in the catch can? I used to run greddy catch cans on my supra and mr2 turbo's but I never used one on a N/A. Your car looks pimp BTW.

Naw, it probably evaporates before it even collects due to the holes on the top of the can. If I was FI, I would have more crap in there but since I am not it is clean as a whistle

Whats up Rick, i was just wondering why you're spending all this money on these couple ARC mods rather than saving up for F/I?

I'm not going FI. Unnecessary at the track since the Z is already more than a handful, why go FI and have heat issues, reliability issues, and handling issues when it is not necessary? Use the Cwest s2k as an example of what a track car is all about. Weight savings, suspension settings, and aerodynamics gave the S2k the record FR time at Buttonwillow raceway with a stock s2k motor.

Full custom cage, new kit, and on to NA build up debating whether to stroke the motor or not for crazy torque.

One comes out of the crank case vent into the can.. The other one goes out the can to the top of the intake filter.

The ARC is a slightly different design.. gasses vent out the top and everything else stays in the can until it is emptied..I like this design better as no gunk at all goes back into the intake.. The disadvantages are a slight oil smell inside the car sometimes and more frequent emptying of the can.

If you have FI.. the ARC can does fill up every 6-8 months or so with oil mixed with mostly water from condensation.. creating a wonderful sludge The Cusco can I emptied once in 12+ months.. and it was mostly burnt dried sludge..a lot of the liquid went back into the intake

The ARC can has a screw hole underneath so i empty using a towel and large ziplock bag without even takng out the can.. The Cusco, i have to take out of the car to empty.. PITB..

Rickdogg: one of the bolts on your strut bar is missing!
