Default Air filter Heatshield

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true

Would this air filter heatshield fit/work inside the JWT Popcharger heatshield?

I like the concept of the air filter heatshield.......Any opinions????

I currently don't have a POP charger now.....I'm planning to purchase one.
But, curious if the air filter heatshield would eliminate the additional heat from the engine.

And, If it's going to fit around the POP charger heatshield.

When you buy the JWT POPCharger the kit includes the heat shield.
www.avalonracing.net so far as I know has a great price $109.00 shipped.
Good Luck!

Thanks for posting that pic....POP Charger heatshield does not cover the top portion of the filter.
Do you think I can use the air filter heatshield to cover the top portion?

i dunno, you'll have to mess with it some. It won't just bolt right up to it

I ordered one of those heat shields from eBay. I'll post comments after I get it installed.

The hood covers the top part of the air filter.

As posted on another thread I've measured differences of 20-30 degrees in hot and arduous (track) condtions. The supplied heat shield works. Let me know if you get some measured improvement with extra shielding...especially for that cheaply!

I have an Injen setup as a short ram. Injen sells a heat shield for about $50. This one worked out great and only cost me $11 on eBay. It's nice quality and brightly polished. Installing it was no problem, only about 15 minutes to install it.
