A sticker will add a maximum of 2 horsepower. But you might lose torque because of less “back pressure.”

I like the HKS.

Yeah, it's expensive. But if $130 for a filter, adapter and heat shield is a reasonable price then it's not too crazy that I got a polished pipe for an extra $200. it's all relative. A short-ram is a short-ram and a cai is a cai. I like short-ram intakes and I wanted something that looked nice.

besides, the Racing suction kit has a CHROME sticker and that's 18 whp.

hey... think about it... adding a sticker you think its at least +5 bhp but in reality its actually negative hp since it adds weight to ur car =P

I've got the AEM cold air on my 03 base. Popped it on around 10,000 miles. The throttle note is much louder and when you really open it up it growls. It's pretty nasty. I definitely recommend the polished over something colored. The aluminum shines bright, and especially goes well if you have any chrome wheels or accessories. Just be careful when you put the intake in. Removing the stock airbox is easybut with the limited room and the razor sharp edges on the piping it's very easy to slice through the air mass sensor wire bundle like I did. Ended up costing me an extra 400 to have dealer fix. Right now I've got a slight whistle, but I'm pretty sure it's just one of the seals that needs to be tightened. It may actually add like 3 to in some cases 5 hp, but it will definitely give a more aggressive throttle note. good luck with your add on.

Gruppe M Is the best period, but it has fitment issues and can damage/puncture your A/C lines. If you want to take the risk that's the way to go. Also you can always cover your AC line with heating rubber hose. The choice is yours. I also have one for sale Gruppe M Carbon fiber intake bulb with carbon fiber scoop. PM me if interested or have any questions.
