Default Well, time to clean the popcharger filter

Everyone always mentioned that they buy the K&N filter cleaner and that it turns the blue popcharger filter to a red.

Is this the only option when it comes to filter cleaner? Is there another brad out there?

And I have had the popcharger for about 8,000km, is that the right distance to do a filter cleaning? Ther filter doesn't look dirty at all.

I would tell you that any spray lubricant (such as WD-40) will work just as well as a special purpose filter spray, but the other forum members will kill me.

Thats filter oil. You put it on after you clean the filter.....

You can buy Jim Wolf oil from mynismo.com

The oil in the cleaning kit for the Holly Powershot filter is blue. Most speed shops carry it for about $10 for the cleaner and oil. Summit Racing also carries it: http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...art=HLY-100-11
