Default Good read about exhaust theory...

Ran across this while browsing the NSX forum this morning. It was written by Overboost and thought I would share it. I would have put this in the exhaust section, but I thought it would be more appreciated here...

http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Miscella...austtheory.htm

I must say, it is very long though, enjoy!

Thanks for the post. There's no need to be an engineer with a thorough understanding of flow dynamics to understand basic exhaust theory. Still, each day we’ll continue to read “I need some backpressure" posts.

just thought this should get one bump to the top because it is important that people know this, to help stop the spread of bad information.

Actually, you DO need to be a good engineer with lots of experience, if you want to understand and publish info on exhaust theory. If that wasn't the case, then every article on the web on backpressure, tuning, etc... would be correct.
