Hey Jason,

I was trying to determine the size of the header collecter in order to try and figure out why my exhaust sounds so rapsy sometimes. I was thinking it was because of mis-matched diameters in the exhaust sytem. I'm running the DC Sports SS headers (? diam.) into Kinetix cats (2.25 in, 2.25 out) into a stillen true dual exhaust (2.5 diam. at cat). If the header and exhaust are 2.5 diam then the cats might be restricting flow and causing a standing wave, or something that gives the rasp I hear mostly when the car is cold.

I have lived with it for a year but it is kinda getting to me as of late. Thought about going to a y-pipe/b-pipe/nismo combo to get rid of the rasp. What do you think?

the stillen TD exhaust tents to sound like a low pitched buzzing bee when you have high flow cats or test pipes...

So IMHO its a normal sound for the STILLEN exhaust...
