What do you want?

A nicer looking almost stock style exhaust that amplifies the distinctive stock tone?

OR

A completely different exhaust design with a deeper and more bassy sound?

If you get 10 votes for the EVO2, and 10 for the NISMO, then you'll be back to where you started.

He should then consider the Borla TD cat-back

yeah thats what you have to decide on...sound...they are both gonna look similar from the back (sorta).

try watching videos of the exhausts...ZIVMAN's videos sold me on the greddy and that's what i'll get when the time comes.

**NOTE: ZIVMAN's car had headers and resonated test pipes. I'm going with the combo. I've seen a video of the greddy catback only and it doesn't sound great.

If youre just going to get a catback, go with the NISMO...but watch those videos!

I think I should contact greddy and get some commission on the sale of the evo2

In all seriousness, I would choose the greddy over the nismo just for the look alone. I don't like the stock muffler look regardless if it is polished or not. I haven't heard the nismo in person, but nearly everyone says it sounds great. So, I would say both exhausts sound great, but the evo2 just looks meaner. opens up the rear and has those huge tips.

Enjoy

The greddy would be a better choice for you if this is what you want. I loved the look and sound of my greddy evo when I had it. Too bad it sucks for a TT application (too much backpressure).

greddy for me. sound goes real nicely with test pipes. but in the end it all really comes to what you want. don't base your decision on what other people say. what could be good and nice to one could be horrible and ugly to another.

No the Greddy EVO II is a chitty exhaust for a turbo set up. If you are going to stay below 500whp I would recommend either the HKS 2.5" true dual, APS 2.5" true dual, or the new Greddy EVO II for turbo cars which is 2.75" true dual. The turbo EVO II won't be available for a few months and the other are avaiable now. Although the HKS is on backorder and has been for a few weeks.

If you are going for more than 500whp I would recommend a true dual 3" exhaust. SFR has one available now, and APS will have one in about two months, or you can go custom.

GMan quick question about your exhaust that I have been curious about...did you start the 3" after the greddy downpipe adapters or did you make it so it is coming straight off the turbos and you are dumping the w/g's?

Yes after the dp adapters. I am going to get me the SGP wastegates that dump into the atomsphere real soon.

Yeah, I was looking at those but the est. $650 or so is turning me away, so I don't know exactly what is going to happen yet.

Not a bad investment though. They say they should give you 40whp or so. That comes to only $16.25 per whp. The thing I like most is you don't have to turn up the boost.....it's free hp.
