Default Crawford Plenum or Headers?

I have enough money for either a Crawford Plenum or some headers. Which will give me the most gains for the money? I have stock exhaust and a z-tube/popcharger.Thanks

Unless you plan to install them yourself, headers install usually costs about 400-600 bucks. That said, unless you get crawford headers, I wouldn't waste the time, money or trouble. Headers don't have a very good gain:$ spent ratio. IMO get the plenum.

+1

Go with the plenum or AAM spacer, easy install, roughly the same gains...

Yup. $$ to gains, go plenum, especially if you do your own work.

I disagree with what others have said. Plenum will give you more power for the dollar, but ultimately coated headers will give you more power gain than any other single bolt-on N/A mod, albeit at a much higher cost per dollar. If you only afford one, get the headers, but the coating will be $200, and the install will be around $600.

Doug charges $400 to install his headers.

Headers. One of the best NA mods you can do, and one you can do yourself if you're ambitious and have an afternoon to kill.
