injen sp1986 intake system

I just installed a injen sp1986 intake system and my service engine soon light came on once the car was started. Has anyone had this problem and if so how can it be fixed?

check your hoses, mafs, and connections...then reset the ecu by unplugging the battery for a while. it should go away...

or just follow the ecu resetting procedure on technosquare's website.
