Default Custom exhaust idea - has anybody seen something like this?

I was thinking that it would be cool to have full length long tube headers AND a set of high flow cats afterward, then a true dual exhaust with an h-pipe. Has anybody done something like that?

So let's say you start with a set of XERD or supersprint long tube headers (if you can get them...)

Then after the header, weld in a couple high flow cats and go true dual the rest of the way back, kind of like in this picture from the cats back (but this is a 3" exhaust for a turbo) https://my350z.com/forum/attachment....chmentid=81764

I know custom exhausts can be a PITA, but it just seems like it would be the best of all worlds for NA: full length headers, cats to keep the noise down and keep it from smelling too rich, a true dual with crossover pipe for optimum exhaust flow and deep sound.

If anybody has seen this done, please let me know.

By the way, I know there is the full supersprint exhaust, but I don't think it's available in the US, and I have some weird obsession with true dual the last few days...

Yea, what plumpzz said. It's all just theory until somebody does it and dynos the results, so I was just wondering if anybody had the same idea and implemented it...

That might be a bit loud for street use. I don't know...the idea sounds cool, but probably is more of a PITA than it's worth unless money, time and potential car downtime aren't issues at all.
