10 hp for under $200.00
I am not to sure if anyone has this part or if anyone can help me make a decision about this? There is something called a plenum spacer. Its being sold for $191.95 and it claims gains up to 10hp to the rear wheels, Also better throttle response. I havent seen any threads for this nor have I seen anyone mention that they have this simple bolt on. Can someone give me some advice or if anyone has this bolt on can you inform us on how it works? Does it really work? and is it worth it to add on with a cold air intake from injen?

I have the SKUNK2 Spacer. It's the biggest of them all but you have to raise your hood and say bye bye to your strut bar. As for a 10whp and responsiveness increase, it sure feels like it.
If you want to keep your strut bar and not worry about your hood look into the
Motordyne spacer. All 5/16" spacers fit with the stock strut bar and engine cover.

I think when someone starts a new thread, a pop-up window should open asking them whether they have tried searching for it yet. Not that many would pay attention to it. Oh well...
Sorry man, I always hate saying this, but seeing the same threads over and over again, it gets annoying, even though I haven't been here all that long. Hope you can get the info you're looking for.

I istalled the AAM Spacer which is tappered .500 in front ( where you need more air volume) and .250 at the rear and was able to keep my stock strut bar ( had to build spacers to raise it).

the kit from AAM comes with spacers but they are just washers, which they work ok but i like what I did (more area with my spacers)..

If I read you right, you got just shy of 1/4 clearance between the Plenum top and the stock bar BUT if you use the supplied spacer, it will still clear but not as much?
What kind of gap would you say you had with the supplied spacer?
Sorry if this sounds stupid but is 1/4" even enough clearance?
Seems to me that the engine 'jiggling' on it's mounts could eat that gap and the plenum could tap the bar - right/wrong?
I have been looking into this mod because it really intrigues me since it looks like an inexpensive and easy to install way of getting the engine darn close to the magic 300 HP mark.
Besides what the car must feel like with the extra power, one can say they have 300HP and justify the statement.
