Default For those with HKS Universal mufflers!

I want to run a dual setup with 170mm canister HKS Hi Power Carbon Ti mufflers, but I don't want the tips to be angled outward when installed. Will these mufflers fit pointing straight back, I'm getting conflicting answers on this so if someone could take a measurement that would be VERY much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm 95% positive the answer is no, not even close to straight.

I just got my 3" dual installed yesterday and bought ebay mufflers (cheap, I know), but that were smaller than the HKS canisters. Not sure on the exact length of the HKS but 170mm is 6.7" diameter w/ a ~5" diameter tip. The muffler I got has a 5.5" diameter canister w/ a 4.25" tip and a 14" long muffler body. I thought I was going to get away without angling it much, but that didn't happen. There is too much stuff in the way on the passenger side of the car. Here are a couple pics to show you the finished product.
