Default True Dual Exhaust - no more putzin around.

Alright, this is like the endless search. I understand true dual is the best route to go by any means over nismo and other single mid pipe (prove me wrong - I am having troubles backing this up)

Is there any exhaust that is a seperate pipe each side of the engine? ie: not like Greddy Evo2 ... which connects from one midpipe to 2 seperates.

greddy evo2

Does anyone have dynos over single pipe stuff vs dual ? (i dont trust www.i-m-racing.com website because they must use manufacturer's dyno graphs.)

Yes. Borla has a y-pipe version as well but almost nobody has that. The true-dual is what 99% of the Borla folks here have (me included). Awesome deep sound yet civil in-car. We all love it!

I think Injen is the only "true" independent dual exhaust out there. But I've heard without an H or Y pipe, torque at low end is sacrificed... I dont know if that is a fact, thats just what I've heard from forum members.

The Invidia G200 is a True Dual also. Even thjough it has one muffler, the paths in it are seperate. I have one, but have added an "H" Pipe to it. BTW, I'm really pleased with this system. I'm glad I waited for for this one.

So you want to go from 2 pipes into 1 pipe then back to 2 pipes?

How about 2 pipes into 2 pipes into 2 pipes?

2 pipes into 2 pipes ... thats just what I was lookin for !

dyno numbers ? i-m-racing.com says 11hp peak gain.

----- does anyone else think we should just create a giant stick with all the exhausts available ? pricings, and for added bonus use sound clips on the other sticky ..... not to mention diameter piping sizes and as far as dual, single, or whatever ...

http://www.************************/...st/exhaust.htm

Edit; I forgot APS was a dirty word around here. Google air power systems. They have a 2.5, and 3" true dual.
