Gains schmains its an intake don't expect much. I say get the JWT Popcharger, it sounds bad *** and they're cheap I got one here for $109 shipped!

They gain 6.5hp. More than most!! See this article for info.

This has been asked so many times on here its almost annoying. Here is the genral concensus on this forum. No intake provides any gains on our cars. The motor is about maxed out from the factory so most bolt ons don't really do a whole lot. There are several guys who have a ton of bolt ons and are approaching the 300 RWHP mark, but its just too damn expensive. There are several options for intakes for our cars:

Injen
AEM
Nismo
K&N
Popcharger

These are the most popular ones. All of these cost anywhere from $200-250 while the Popcharger costs about $110-125. All the Popcharger is is a filter and a heat shield. So basically, dont waste your money on anything but the Popcharger. It provides minimal gains, like the others and at half the cost!

Go to a Z-Meet and look at other 350Zs. Talk to the drivers about the pros and cons of various modifications. Then make your buying decision.

The popcharger uses a reusable filter so you can save a couple bucks down the road on filters. You get 4-5 hp gain...not that you'll feel it however. It sounds cool at WOT. But the best reason to get one is.....

...it looks cool.

The Popcharger is about the easiest intake to install. It may not make a ton of extra HP (3-4 HP maybe) but it really adds alot to the sound of the car. Works great when combined with an aftermarket exhaust.
