Hiflow vs. Test pipes.
Okay, so I'm looking to replace my stock cats on my G35coupe. I had ordered a pair of Crawford highflows-- I was stoked-- untill they were stolen.
So now I'm going to do a little more homework before I dive into another pair of 300-500$ highflows.
What is the difference between the two in reguards of
1. Preformence (mixed with a new plenum and a stillen intake+ztube)
2. Sound (If I put test pipes on my G will it sound like a mustang, or raspy)
3. Problems- Are one more problematic than the other (not for install im gettin it professionally done)
Thanks in advanced

For performance, go test pipes. If you want to remain street legal, go high flow cats.
Sound: The unique sound of the G35 is primarily the result of the resonator and muffler, not the catalytic converter. The purpose of the catalytic converter is not noise attenuation. Replacing it will not significantly alter the signature G35 sound.
