Default Any DYNOS for 5Zigen proracer??

I'm planning on getting one of these.. I saw a 5Zigen dyno that went from 260 to 286 hp w/ just exhaust. Sounds fishy, but this exhaust is unique to me from its huge *** collector as well as semi-dual characteristics. so I dont know. Anyone have a dyno for this? Thanks

You should try asking Jason or Tony from Performance Nissan. They recently installed those exhausts on their cars and they can prolly tell u firsthand.

Dont think you will get that much from exhaust alone 16whp maybe 16hp to the crank!

Yeah I believe Jason from Perf Nissan has installed a couple on their cars. Nothing but gos things to say about it. As for gains, yeah I'd like to know too.

the idea of cats = lame
#1 it restricts air flow (by law of physics, logic and common sense) less restriction of air flow into and out of the engine = MORE POWER
#2 new engines such as the Z's doesnt make much CO.. when the engines gets older when burning gets incomplete it starts to make CO
#3 the smell is the true smell of the engine, just like straight pipe exhaust its the true and original sound directly from the engine's exhaust manifold... any resonation will change it...

Stay true!

personally I'd never go straight pipes on a daily driven car again, or a car I put lots of miles on - it is way too loud, and on an NA car, the benefits just are not there. The difference between test pipes and high flow cats on this car, in NA form, is minimal, except for the sound

The dyno on this exhaust will be the same as virtually every other exhaust that connects to the stock Y pipe - around 5-8 whp. Add in high flow cats and a Y pipe and you could potentiall gain 16 ish whp depending on your state of tune

this exhaust comes with a y-pipe.. sorta lol

Its a y-pipe but it never merges until the muffler. so the whole midpipe is..2 pipes.. its interesting.

In this thread: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....5zigen+exhaust, Tony pointed out that this exhaust feels more powerful than the HKS High-power Ti exhaust, so i am guess this thing must be making at least 12+ hp at the wheel.

again guys, every exhaust for this car, whether it is a true dual, or Y pipe + catback, will all make within 1-5 hp of one another on a naturally aspirated Z or G - the ONLY deciding factors should be price, look, and sound.

No Dynos I have ever saw for just a exhaust has exceeded 11WHP. The only thing that will truely make a difference is the Y pipe on a cat back.

i agree. I'd say it makes around 7-11 as well..

btw the hks oen made 15 w/ test pipes .

Anyway..the weight of this thing is 51lbs w y-pipe. Pretty impressive. Amuse isn't all that godly.. everyone has one nowadays . i was gonna get the trial one until someone else got one, lucky guy. I think im set on getting this. it should rip amuse an new one w/ test pipes/HFC.
(i really think amuse is over rated.. ive heard it in person)
