I should be getting my Popcharger any day now but the UTR tube i ordered is on back order so i probably won't get that for a couple weeks....my question is, should i wait for both to start the install? would it be easier to put both on at once? i want to avoid doing double work as well as messing around with the maf as i've come to find out how sensitive it is.

I put my pop charger on first and then the tube later, it really wasnt too much of a hasle. It probably would be easier to do it all at once, but I am a very unpatient person so I put it on as soon as it got delivered.

 

If I'm not mistaken, you won't even touch the MAF once. Install now and replace the tube later. It'll be painless.

I got an idea dyno your car stock then with your popcharger then with both your popcharger and UTR tube. I think this could be interesting to see if you could get an gains from the UTR tube alone or somewhere in the power band.

 

from what ive read, the utr tube is just for looks (for the z)
if anything, won't it get hotter than the stock z tube?

 

well the popcharger is in.....i gave up on trying to bolt up the snorkel to the sheild....the area is just too small to work in....how did you guys get that part on? the snorkel doesn't even come out completely right?

okay, i gotta stop saying snorkel.
