Header and cat installation took about 3.5 hours. As you can guess, the headers are a tight fit, and it helps to have an assortment of ratchets and swivel fittings, and a pair of shinny hands are idea for the job. The Kinetix high flow cats fit well with plenty of clearance. The cats have no braces to fit the OEM supports, so the supports were left off. This is a concern (albeit minor) because the cats weigh about 8 pounds each, and “hang” unsupported between the headers and cat back pipes.

Despite the traffic on PA30 and I83, I was able to get on the throttle a couple of times. Its next to impossible to judge about horsepower, but the engine feels more responsive at about 4,500 rpm plus. One thing for certain is that the exhaust is more loud: at about 4,500 rpm plus its crazy loud! I still believe that more horsepower can be squeezed out of the engine. Its just a gut feeling but it seems like the engine is starved to air at the other end: the intake. The engine seems to have the potential for more “go” but something is holding it back (more air?). Overall I’m satisfied, and I’d like to thank
