Default Long Tube Header Options

Hey Z Owners!

I'm interested in finally finishing out my breathing mods and am looking for a set of long tube headers. As far as I can remember only XERD makes long tubes for this car. Is any other manufacturer planning on doing this in the future or do any of em do it now? Money is no object, I want the stock headers out since I'm going to be replacing all my exhaust gaskets to hopefully knock out a pretty nasty leak.

Thanks,

Reav

supersprint also makes true long tube headers, but they're hard (impossible?) to find in the U.S. I've heard that "shorty" headers are better for this motor to maintain low end torque, and if money is no object then get the crawford headers and if you don't want a high flow cat, just get resonated test pipes.

If money REALLY is no object, these are the hot set-up. Unitech runs them on their Grand Am 350Z. Custom made stainless steel. Think $7,000.00 for the complete exhaust. With bolt-ons, you'll get about 300HP to the rear wheels. They work!

I was actually thinking of having a full custom set done since I have a friend that knows a friend who can make full custom NA setups but it costs money, no where near 7k tho ! I'm interested in the supersprint headers too, I'll have to look into those. As for crawford, I love their products but I want a long tube in the sense that the cats are eliminated and I have one less flange and gasket to worry about . I'm mainly searching for mid-high end power so a loss of low-mid power isn't a big issue for me, I love to ride on redline quite a bit!
