Notice any resonating sounds in the car while cruising at 75'ish on the freeways that I have heard some mention? Any issue with that?
From what I've heard, the Nismo is everything you said. It would be my choice.
I have had my Nismo on for 3 days now, which I installed with Kinetix hi flow cats. Everything HyperSprite said is accurate with my setup as well...
At 75, if you just maintain speed (no acceleration) there is a noticable drone, although very faint. If you accelerate even a bit, the Nismo makes itself known. Keep in mind though, that this is with hi-flow cats, so if you have stock cats it will probably be a bit different (ie more quiet)

With the windows up at 75 on a flat you can hear the exhaust but it is very mild, I only notice when I have the music completely off, even low volume music covers it up entirely. With the windows down, it's more noticeable but it's never annoying or overpowering, but constant. Keep in mind I am still using stock cats.
I do know of one ZR guy in NorCal that sold it to get the Stillen because with the Crawford cats, plenum and pop charger it was just ot loud for every day top down driving. He is much happier with the Stillen.
All of that said Chad68, I'll be glad to take you for a drive and let you hear it for yourself. That is really the best way to buy a system anyway. Check the NorCal section here, I will be at both the Carmel event on the 17th and Toys for Tots things on the 18th this weekend or we could hook up some other time if you're interested.

I got 6 hp from my Nismo CAI, and 6 HP from my Flowmaster muffler only.
Awesome sound better than the Nimso IMHO, the same HP as the nismo and cost $110.00 installed, with my stock tips.
Saved $800.00.....

The Nismo exhaust can be found for less than a grand and no exhaust for the Z is going to get you much in the power to cost area. The stock system although smaller in tubing and lacking mandrel bends is not all that restrictive. The Borla gets 8 hp but cost less and had a smidgen less torque, the Stillen gets 8 but weighs and cost more.
If you want low cost (relative to other Z parts, not chevy 350 parts) performance, look at the MD 5/16 plenum spacer and iso thermo gasket, so far that seems to be the best bang for your buck mod for under $300 but it wont make your car sound any faster and it wont really be any thing to look at either.
