Test pipe smell?
How much/bad is it?
I don`t want it to seem like I`m driving around with a 5 gall. gas tank under my hatch.
What is a `good` price on a (pair) of resonated test pipes?

I don't think I want to be able to "get used" to the smell of exhaust fumes with test pipes. My friend has test pipes and you can smell his fumes in the next car on the highway. I would be scared if my lungs and nose adapted to that kind of fumes where I don't notice it anymore.
That's one of the reasons why I changed my mind about test pipes and went with a HFC. Even with the HFC, I still notice a difference in smell between stock.

I think if you smell anything in the cabin , you have a leak. It's not like fumes are soaking through the metal and into the cabin. All the exhaust has to exit the muffler unless there is a leak. I just put mine on, and also wrapped them in exhaust wrap. The wrap smokes for a few miles till it settles. Thought the damn thing was going to catch on fire. After that i don't smell anything and the smoking quit.

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, toxic gas.
Carbon monoxide does not harm your lungs; rather your lungs and bloodcells will take in carbon monoxide before taking in oxygen. So by breathing in too much CO you will die from lack of O2.
That being said, removing your cats does not substantially increase CO output from your car. The increased smell is from additional unburned fuel that isn't getting trapped in the cats and burned anymore.
