Default New MREV Dyno Numbers!!!!!!!!

This was done in 4th gear.

Gains are pretty consistent with the other dyno's.

Congrats on the killer results!

Looks alot like another 20HP-30TQ pre/post dyno.

Thanks
Once I get the email version of the graphs I'll post them. Tony,
Do you have that program that shows what the exact difference is between baseline and new line at each RPM?

Download WinPep7 from dynojet's website. Call and ask your garage to email you your actual run files, not just the graphs. That way you can plug them in and do whatever analysis you desire.

Why is it a 4th gear dyno?

5th Gear is 1/1.

I don't know why. Why would it matter if it was done in 5th?

Would be more acurate. Althought I dont think there is that much of difference in running in 4th or 5th. Could be wrong tho.

5th is the 1/1 gear, but dynojet's automatically calculate for "to the drum" gear ratios by comparing the drum speed versus the engine rpms. Therefore the gear in which you run technically doesn't matter. At least that's what's supposed to happen. In the real world, I have seen 5 to 8 hp/tq differences between 4th and 5th on my own car, back to back runs.

Yes. Its pretty easy to plot the exact differences made by the modification.
It will show exactly how much was gained and where.

I appreciate it, but my 13.7/13.8 runs were at about ~800 feet altitude, at about 25 degrees. So that gave me a -1666 DA.

Also, I have more than just the cats. I also have a stock z intake tube(the stock g intake tube has baffles for noise reduction), a k&n panel filter, and a 350z midpipe(the g sedan midpipe is larger and has a larger resonator; just a sound and weight mod).

So yeah, I'm still proud, but with those mods, in unbelievable conditions, I'm barely running what many z's run stock in the summer.

yah but you basically have a Z with a cat and drop in filter so that is good times.. plus u have more weight =p sedans are cool... Do you have the awd? anyone got times of the awd sedan? should be pretty good since the major drawback of our 1/4 is the initial 0-60.

I am really starting to see the Z as being a faster car than most people think.. yes it does not put down a super good 1/4 time like the evo and sti.. but once it gets going it can no doubt keep up or even pass one of those stock vs stock.. i am really glad i got the z and not the rx8

Hahaha. The RX8 is no comparison to the Z. The RX8 may have some nice attributes, but I'll take the Z over the RX any day.

Besides, the Z looks MUCH nicer. The RX just doesn't do it for me.

Well here's the dyno in color. I'm pissed though because the dumbass sales guy at the dyno place can't figure out how to send it to me in a run file so I can plot the graph with Winpep.

Another suggestion, if you get your run files at least.

Change your x axis on the bottom graph to be Time(s), and the y axis to be Speed. That way you can see if you are actually accelerating any faster. Of course, this doesn't always apply, especially if the runs being compared are not in the same gear.
