Default Titanium Exhausts

Is it really worth it? I'm thinking about it, but it runs about double the stainless steels. Thanks.

Depends on how much performance you are looking for. If you need that much more weight savings go with TI.

borla also sheds some pounds and is a good alternative.

nothing beats the look of the Ti tips though.

Try contacting Ed at the link below. He has a nice exhaust at a good price.

be careful titanium exhaust saves weight but stainless steel gives the best sound. Ferraris use stainless steel because it has an unequaled sound quality.

I like titanium, very light weight, and very nice overall.
I had the JIC spartan DE1, full titanium y-pipe back, w/no resonator, so it was pretty loud, but performance was great. I just would hate to crack the pipe or something since it's very hard to find a place that welds titanium.
It's worth the money overall, there are some "budget" titanium systems out there if you know where to look...

Titanium is strong, but i've hit some debri before, on the road that killed my piping, so, i know first hand. But the JIC exhausts are very nice. They even have a new design for their dual tip exhaust in titanium that is excellent.

I am still waiting to get word from JIC on the dual canister exhausts in Titanium. They did debut their single muffler, dual tip titanium DE2 exhaust at SEMA this past year though.

I have an 80mm Full Ti JIC single with no resonators, its super loud (even with the turbo), but sounds great, much better than the Injen.

BTW it was less than $100 more shipped than what you see Nismo exhaust going for. And it weighed in at 9.8lbs from cat-back to tip Very worth it imo, especially for those wanting to save wieght.

Yes, the JIC is slightly louder/just as loud and thats with a Turbo, over the Injen and test-pipes NA. But it does sound better. Ill have clips up sometime this week, most liekly in the FI forum....
