Smile EVO-R front air duct tube kit Installed

Finally got this kit installed on the car. It turn out, you don't need to screw a bolt on the front bumper. The fitment is so perfect. It fits so tie. Just require top 2 screws to bolt on. To installed this tube, you must remove the whole bumper, for easier installation. 2 items need to be removed. Front left lower plastic cover and a metal bracket. Here is the pics...
Can be order here:

Would this setup be compatible with JWT popcharger or NISMO cai? Thanks

works with popcharger, but not the NISMO intake which has the air filter on the front of the bumper. Any intake system has the filter at the stock air box location will work.

Really not point making this in CF.

This MOD is best mod for anyone wants Varis air duct but don't want to cut the bumper.

Looks good but I would just like to suggest one slight change to the design...

Would it be possible to make it so that there is more of the piece that will cover the hole so it'll look flush/smooth? There seems to be a funky looking gap exposing part of the original vent. I'd like to see that whole section covered off so that it runs smoothly with the radiator brace.

I have realised that the OE air duct on US cars is actually larger than non US ones (the part is sold on the mynismo.com site)...I suppose this product fits the US air vent, correct? If so, I should buy the US air duct...please confirm and I will order the air duct from you and air vent from them...

Ok...I imagined that. Now, anybody know if the US spec air duct fits the EU spec air box? ie is the stock air box exactly the same for the US and the EU spec models?

yea, it would be nice, if the complete air inlet was covered making all the air primarily come from the duct. It can escape through the side with those areas out like that

Why would you need to take off the bumper to install that?

When I installed it did not get it push more to the right. If it was, It would cover the hole thing. You need to remove the bumper, because there is just not enough space to slid it in. You also need to remove a plastic cover which is inside the bumper. Hope this helps. I'll try to get installed car back and take another adjusted picture. - Jay

I would say this would work with most of the CAI systems, you just have to change it to the short ram setup.
