Hks: if money is not an issue.
Borla: good price / good performance.

Do a quick search to find out for sure. It seems as if the two most popular exhausts for the Z are the Borla TD and Nismo Catback. I know the Borla TD exhaust gives decent hp gains (6 whp I believe, not sure on tq)

Take your pick. The difference between a good y-pipe exhuast and a TD is negilbible....
